Every year we provide opportunities for thousands of Hawaii residents and visitors to view sharks in their ocean environment. Our tours are hugely popular, they help to bolster tourism and support our local economy.
The real facts about our shark tours
Our tours are safe, sustainable and legal. We are visited by sharks that are non-aggressive to people. There has been no increase in shark attacks on the north shore of Oahu since we started business.
Industry licensing and code of conduct
We support development of a shark tour licensing scheme for Hawaii, in conjunction with an industry code of conduct to ensure that shark tour operations continue to be operated in a safe, sustainable and environmentally sensitive manner. Similar schemes are operated in South Africa, Australia and Mexico. These countries have officially recognized the important contribution of the cage diving industry to shark conservation, research, education and economy.
